Cellmax 60/40 Hydro-Coco mix 45L is a professional high-quality substrate for hydroponic growing - it contains 60% clay pebbles and 40% coconut fiber. This very well aerated substrate has an ideal water-to-air ratio and is perfect for fast-growing plants in recirculating hydroponic systems, in pots or trays. The 60/40 mixture is lightlly enriched with initial fertilizer for fast growth of young plants and additional calcium for healthy plants with strong cell walls.

UGRO Pot9 is a 900-gram brick made of dehydrated compressed coconut matter (coir, chip and fiber). The bag has 4 holes in the base for better drainage. You get up to 9L of coco substrate after adding 2-3L of water.

This block of compressed coconut results into 10 litres of ready-to-use coconut substrate after adding 3.5 - 4 litres of water to it. Furthermore its volume will increase approximately tenfold. As a result of its initial size the substrate is fairly easy to transport.
Compared to regular peat substrate (potting soil) coco substrate has a great number of benefits, which are:.

• it has the low EC value of < 0.8 mS/cm
• it has the ideal pH value of 5.8
• it stimulates a perfect root development
• the coco substrate is not compact which makes it easy to drain,
• it is a light product: 85kg/m³ (peat substrate weighs 125kg/m³)
